Artist's Comments

This Illustration is part of a much larger project I am working on.

It actually is a collage of paintings. I painted most of the elements separately and put them together later. I tried to make it look like the girl was more on a staged background than an actual literal girl in the woods. Almost like a staged photograph or play. It probably makes more sense when put together with the other illustrations.

:edit: 0____O Another Daily Deviation! Wow! I'm blown away. It's silly, but one thing I have always wanted was a daily deviation.
Thanks to :iconarchann: for helping my dream come true for a second time! I have been trying extra hard lately to promote my art, and become a working artist. This really gives me a great deal of motivation to keep fighting!

I guess the only "stock" is the texture which I made, but the rest is painted. some things where painted separately to give it that look though. I tried to make it look like a staged photograph or a play with a fake background and foreground. Maybe I'll make a tutorial sometime.

Dude, this is very pretty, I love the look of this and the girl is cute, but there's a scariness to this, almost as if she's about to walk into a darker place, where monsters are waiting for her.

We read them, then ask questions and artists are sometimes updating their comments to prevent further questions from those who don't read other peoples comments first :)
